Pegasus took 26 gymnasts from its floor and vault squad and advanced GFA classes to the regional intermediate floor and vault competition on Sunday 25th June 2023, competing against all of the other clubs in the south east region. For the vast majority of the gymnasts competing, it was their very first competition at Intermediate level having qualified to move up from the previous competition on 30th April.

With minimal preparation time, these gymnasts rose to the occasion performing clean and classy looking routines, which were noticed by other coaches and judges attending the event that day.  Pegasus took an impressive stance on the podium, returning with 24 top 6 finishes, and 16 medals for gymnasts in their respective categories.

Round 1 – Scarlett Ingram – 4th,  Phoebe Chan – 3rd,  Rhea Butler Jones – 5th and  Ebbe wooding – 2nd

Round 2 – Abigail Wallis – 7th,  Summer Rose – 1st, Amelia Beautridge – 4th,  Julia Reis – 6th, Eva Beavington – 6th,  Savannah Henry-Cook – 8th,  Imani Muhura – 2nd

Round 3 – Ethan Hayes – 3rd,  Alice White – 3rd,  Evie Lerpiniere – 4th,  Beatrice Lazenby – 2nd  and scored enough to qualify for advanced level, Evie-Rose Miller – 1st and scored enough to qualify for advanced level, Scarlett Tomassi-Cox – 2nd,  Luke Hands – 1st,  Henry Smith – 1st and scored enough to qualify for advanced level,  Ambia Islam – 6th,  Darcie Wilkinson – 6th,  Evie Peskett – 2nd and scored enough to qualify for advanced level,  Lucia McCabe- 1st and scored enough to qualify for advanced level,  Faith-Gabriella Angwafo – 1st,  Thea Link – 3rd and scored enough to qualify for advanced level,  Archie Felstead 3rd
