Nine boys competed at the South-East Regional Grades with selection for the National Finals later in the year as a target. All nine boys successfully qualified!
The morning started off with the younger members of the boys’ squad competing at Elite Grade 1. Rocco performed some great routines along with a high flying vault to take 5th place overall securing a place within the South-East National team. His team mates Ezra, Jasper and Whittaker finished in 10th, 11th and 12th places retrospectively demonstrating confidence and gaining more experience within the competition arena along with securing spots in the Club 1 team for the National Finals!
Second round saw our older more experienced boys competing. Ben, Brodie and Leo competed at Elite Grade 3. Brodie flew over the vault showing huge improvement in this area and a stunning PPP routine with only 0.5 in deductions to finish in 4th, Ben swung a clean P.Bar routine and a beautiful vault to finish in 3rd place and Leo competed a clean and steady competition to take gold! Brodie, Ben and Leo all qualified for the Elite Grade 3 National Finals.
Ethan competed at Elite Grade 5. He demonstrated some clean and improved routines and secured 1st place and a spot at the National Finals.
Eliyah competed in the Club Grade 6. He presented some great routines and enjoyed the competition vibe. He finished in 2nd place due to an unfortunate error, but, has qualified for the National Finals!
