Pegasus attended the regional novice level floor and vault competition on Sunday 3rd December with members from both the floor and vault squad and the advanced GFA classes participating. It was the biggest ever competition for this level with over 450 competitors across the entire day, meaning there was some tough competition and large categories.
It was a brilliant day for Pegasus, with gymnasts achieving:
7 Gold medals
7 Silver medals
5 Bronze medals
7 Top 6 finishes
In addition to these fantastic results, out of the 27 gymnasts that competed, 17 gymnasts achieved a high enough score to qualify to move up to intermediate level for their competitions next year! Congratulations to everyone involved!
