On the 1st October, the floor and vault squad had their regional championships for the advanced level gymnasts. This was the first competition at advanced level for many of the gymnasts competing, as they had very successful competitions earlier in the year that meant they had qualified to move into the advanced level. This is a big jump for most, as up until this point they have been doing short routines in a straight line across the floor, whereas now they need to use the entire floor for their routine, and the girls also have to learn a dance floor routine to music for the first time. The gymnasts competing really impressed us with the confidence they showed performing this big jump in requirements. Pegasus achieved 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 3 bronze medals, and 5 top 6 finishes which was a great result for these gymnasts.
