A great day on Sunday at Guildford Spectrum for the South East Regional Grades.
Competing in the Regional 2 category, Layla had a fantastic competition. Starting on beam, Layla mastered her nerves and managed to complete the routine without a fall, starting her competition in the best way possible. After the nerves had settled, Layla performed some beautiful routines, a stunning floor routine with confidence in her tumbles and grace in her artistry, a strong bar routine and powerful vaults that resulted in her bringing home the Silver medal! A lot of hard work paying off. A huge well done Layla!
In the final round of the day, a very nervous Ella entered the arena for her Regional 1 competition. Ella started her round with a strong bar routine, then set her sights toward beam, despite the nerves, Ella also managed to perform a clean routine with no falls, setting herself up for the rest of her competition. Taking the excitement from beam, Ella performed well for the rest of her round, finishing on some strong vaults, finalising the scores and placing her on top of the leaderboard to take home the Gold medal. After a fantastic competition preparation with lots of hard work this was well deserved. Congratulations Ella!
