A pivotal year for the club saw the recruitment of Ionut Trandaburu, who was a member of Romania’s Olympic Squad. After a highly successful Summer Camp Ionut returned in October just in time to accompany the boys to the National finals at Lilleshall National Sports Centre. Two gymnasts, Ellie Verlinden and Catherine Deadman also enjoyed a coaching session with the great Olga Korbut.
