The reception entrance will be a one-way flow into the facility.
Those waiting to enter the facility are asked to queue outside the (L) side of the entrance door marked at 2m intervals.
A member of staff will be at the entrance to limit the number of people entering the facility at any one time.
Signage at the reception entrance and throughout the facility on walls and floors will reinforce social distancing guidelines.

Gymnasts will be asked to use hand sanitiser positioned at the reception entrance and will be registered for their class at reception before being guided to the gym.

Gymnasts will leave the building via the café fire exit.
Parents / carers are asked to queue along the left side of the exit observing safe distance guidelines. We will be limiting the number of people who are able to come in to the premises. Parents / carers will not be allowed in the building unless for exceptional circumstances or for Kinder classes but please can parents wear a mask in those classes other exceptional circumstances could include if the child has additional needs. The child must be confident and capable of walking into the facility and gym without parent supervision.

Those entering the facility will be asked to use hand sanitiser positioned at the entrance
Cloakrooms and Toilets –
The changing rooms will be out of bounds but access will remain to toilet facilities. Children must be able to toilet themselves as coaches will not be allowed to assist them. Please ask your child to go to the toilet at home before coming to gym.
Gymnasts are asked to come to the facility changed, ready to participate. Shoes/coats should be left with the parent / carer. Any personal belongings brought into the facility (including any
clothes, water bottles, phones, asthma inhaler etc) must be kept in a named wipeable bag which will be left in a designated area within the gym. A disposable water bottle which can be thrown away in the waste bin MAY be more convenient for you. Any property left behind will be quarantined for one week and then disposed of if not claimed.
Gymnasts will be encouraged to use hand sanitiser before they go into the toilet areas then use sanitiser again on leaving the toilets having first washed their hands as per guidance provided at the sinks.
Cleaning –
An equipment inspection and deep cleaning has been carried out in each gymnastics hall and across all communal areas.
The facility is cleaned thoroughly twice a day and each gym and the equipment will be cleaned before and after each session with high touch surfaces cleaned more regularly. All staff undergo daily symptom screening.
Gymnastics Halls –
Sessions have been planned effectively to ensure social distancing whilst ensuring delivery in the best possible way. Particular attention has been given to space around equipment and between groups, gymnasts and coaches. Activity areas will be marked out and some apparatus may be limited. Due to their time away from the gym and the safety measures in place it would be unrealistic to think that fitness and skill levels would be the same as they were before lockdown and it will take time to perform some skills to the level that they were previously.
The total number of gymnasts in each gym will work in pre-determined ‘bubbles’.
Coaches will remind gymnasts of the social distancing rules as and when necessary.
Coaches and leaders will wash their hands at the beginning and end of each session and use hand sanitiser regularly during the session. Gymnasts will be asked to use hand sanitiser on entering the gym and before they go home.
Gymnasts are not required to wear face coverings and it is advised not to wear one during exercise except on specific advice from a physician as it may restrict breathing efficiency. Face coverings / face shields may be used by staff.
Earrings must be removed before coming into the facility or tape applied to cover newly pierced ears by the parent /carer before coming to class. Tape will not be provided by Pegasus and members will not be able to attend their class if earings have not been removed / taped prior to registration at the front door.
If a child becomes unwell we will contact the parent/carer via their preferred contact number. Please ensure that we have your current contact details.

The café will remain closed until further notice.
