9 boys from Pegasus qualified for the National Finals November 10/11th as a result from their performances at the Regional Championships in September 2018

Representing the South East Region at Club Level 1, Eliyah McGuinness came 23. Team mates Taio Strevett and Gethin Carlisle competed at the Elite Level 1 finishing in 15th and 20th place and the team taking bronze. For all 3 boys this was only their forth competition and their first National Final! Great results for young competitors.

Dexter Pedder and Chase Baker competed at Elite Level 2. Dexter performed extremely well and finished in 2nd place and team mate Chase scored a perfect 10.00 on vault finishing in 31st. The South East team finished in 5th place.

At Elite Level 3 the South East won the team event. Ricco Regini-Moran and Valo Martilla finished in 5th and 9th places with clean and confident performances.

Oakley Banks competed in the Elite Level 5 category and maintained his All-Around title for the 3rd year running along with the Team Gold! A great achievement.

Anton Adewale claimed the silver in the Elite Level 6 category with complex routines executed in style.

Dexter, Ricco, Oakley and Anton have also received an invitation to attend trials and testing at the National Sports Centre for the National Squad later in the year due to their performances on the day! All the boys that represented Pegasus at the Finals demonstrated lots of confidence, great quality routines and a demonstration that there is more to come.

The South East region was also awarded the Blakeborough Trophy. The Blakeborough Trophy is awarded to the Region gaining the most points throughout all levels of competition in the Elite Levels!

Congratulations to all the boys and coaches involved.
