The Pegasus Men’s Artistic Squad competed at the British Championships in Liverpool on the 14th-17th March 2019 with great success.

Over the weekend the Men’s Squad claimed a total of 18 medals, 6 titles, 1 car and competed across 5 age groups!

The youngest age group – Under 12’s, saw Ricco Regini-Moran, Dexter Pedder and Chase Baker compete. All 3 executed some great routines and demonstrated improvement and competitive determination in a large arena.

Oakley Banks competed in the Under 14 age group. Showing smooth transitions and composure after a fall, he narrowly missed out on a top 3 finish in the All Around event however medaled on apparatus.

Anton Adewale competed in the Under 16s event. Demonstrating new skills and complex combinations Anton finished in 4th place just outside the medals and qualified for 4 apparatus finals. Anton competed in the Floor Final with great success and took the Bronze medal.

Sam Mostowfi, Sam Ghinn and Euan Cox all competed in the Under 18’s. Fully accomplished gymnasts at this level they demonstrated class, confidence and great execution.

The final competitor for Pegasus over the weekend was James Hall. James competed amongst the best in the UK, including previous Olympic, World and European Team members. James won the Senior British Champion title with a clear lead of over 3 marks, he also won gold on Rings, H.Bar, P.Bar and silver on Pommel.
James Hall and Euan Cox also qualified for the Master Finals, the best gymnasts in the UK on each apparatus. James secured the gold once again on Rings and Bronze on Pommel. Euan finished in 5th place on H.Bar.
