Pegasus Gymnastics Club, founded in 1987, has a membership of more than 1500 participating in a wide range of gymnastics activities including pre-school, Gymnastics for All, disability gymnastics, Freestyle gymnastics and adult gym. The Club provides international level facilities, with a full range of Olympic apparatus for both Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, and has a reputation for producing high level Artistic Gymnasts including National Squad, international and Olympic level Men’s Artistic gymnasts.

Lead Coach Position

We are looking to recruit a high-level professional to take responsibility for the day to day management and leadership of our Gymnastics for All programme and drive the future development of recreational gymnastics within our Club.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should hold a British Gymnastics coaching qualification at level 3 or above in General Gymnastics, Men’s or Women’s Artistic Gymnastics. Qualifications in Freestyle Gymnastics or Disability Gymnastics would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate should have experience in programme planning, motivating and leading a team, and strong communication and organisational skills.

The position is part-time with salary dependent upon experience and qualifications.

 Successful candidates will be asked to attend an interview.

 

GFA Coach Position

We are looking to recruit friendly, enthusiastic, energetic & fun coaches to join our Gymnastics for All (GfA) team on a part time basis. The role will involve delivering dynamic and progressive sessions to a wide range of ages and abilities, developing gymnasts to a high level and to develop yourself though coaching courses and continuing professional development.

British Gymnastics Qualifications:

Minimum Level 2 General Gymnastics.

An interest &/or qualification in Freestyle Gymnastics or Disability Gymnastics is an advantage but not essential.

The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A strong working ethos and passion to help all gymnasts fulfil their potential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability work co-operatively within a team
  • Excellent time keeping and reliability
  • Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
  • Willingness to develop new skills and commit to training opportunities

Salary is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
