Twelve of our Pegasus floor and Vault squad attended the Kent Championships advanced to gold categories on 20th November 2022.
They all excelled in their floor routines, showed some fantastic vaults, and brought home 7 medals! Two of the gymnasts also qualified to progress to the next level – Jeevana secured a second place with 26.05 points in Bronze 2 category and performed the best vault in her category. Jasmine B. took gold with 26.35 in advanced 2 11+years category and qualified for bronze category. In the same category, Alice came up second right after Jasmine.
In advanced 1 category age 8-10, Emma performed the best vault out of all with a score 12.80, together with a beautiful floor routine, she made it right to the top and won gold. Just a step behind was Jessica who placed 2nd. There was one gymnast competing in advanced category 1 age 11-12. In a big tough group Jasmine H. placed 6th.
Girls competing in category Advanced 14+ did fantastic as well, Nicola came 5th and Ella 6th.
In the second round, girls were competing in Bronze to gold categories. Lucy came at a great 6th place and Isabella ended up in 10th in a very big group in Bronze 1 category. Poppy competed in Silver 1 category and took a fantastic 3rd place and also performed the best vault in her category.
Last category for our gymnasts was Silver 2, where Evie took a brilliant 2nd place , she also performed the best scoring vault in her group.
What a fantastic way to finish their competition year. We’re so proud of all our gymnast’s achievements! Big congratulations to all!
