Kindergym Christmas Party

On Sunday 27th November some of our Kindergym members came along for a Christmas Party where they met Father Christmas in his grotto.

The children had a great time climbing, swinging and bouncing around the gym with two naughty little eves until Father Christmas arrived engaging in songs with everyone and requesting their lists before leaving and inviting everyone to find him in is grotto.

All our members visited Father Christmas, willingly or begrudgingly, and received a gift and a sticker from our elves before being offered a much needed drink and biscuit before leaving.

It was so nice to see so many happy faces and to feel the Christmas spirit with our gym!

DE photography attended the event and took some great photos of which they sold quite a few on the day.

Christmas Festivities Week

Week commencing Monday 5th December was our Christmas Festivities week.  It was a huge success with members of the club having the opportunity to participate in activities such as a Raffle, Arts and Crafts,  Lucky Dip and buying some Reindeer food to help those hungry reindeers on Christmas eve.  We also held some free activities which included guess the name of the bear, how many sweets in the jar, how many pieces of lego in a jar and how many puzzle pieces in a jar.

We saw a huge demand for the fun and we would like to thank the Reception Team, parents of the MAG younger squads and a few of the leaders for manning the stalls during the week.    Thank you also to Charlie Mercer and Debbie Hounsell in particular for all the additional help that they offered, these activities cannot run without the help of everyone.

We are so pleased to say that we made a good profit from the week which will go towards much needed equipment in the gym which will benefit all.

We look forward to running some more of these fun weeks around at Easter.

Happy Christmas Everyone!
