2008 Annual Display
Sunday 30th March
Show Time

The annual display is a celebration of participation, progress, success at personal and national level and provides a stunning view of the club's many opportunities.
It was another great performance with a capacity audience and approximately 250 gymnasts participating the seventh Annual Display and Presentations which took place at Maidstone Leisure Centre.

The lively and entertaining performance entitled “Show Time” was much enjoyed by audience and participants alike. Costumes and apparatus augmented by superb lighting and sound effects enhanced the quality gymnastics producing a polished performance of the highest quality.
His Worship the Mayor of Maidstone, Councillor Richard Ash, has been a friend and supporter of the club since the earliest days of it’s move to Crismill Lane. He spoke about the high quality of provision by Pegasus which he regards as a “Jewel in the Sporting Crown of Maidstone”. In recognizing the value of the team work and commitment he presented the Volunteer awards to just a few of the very many “Friends of Pegasus” without whom the club would be unable to sustain it’s comprehensive programme.

Also presenting awards was Brian Stocks, the new Chief Executive Officer of British Gymnastics. Recognition by one of the most respected governing bodies in the country is not earned easily and the Club is grateful for his attendance so soon after taking up his new post. His view of Pegasus can be summed up in his leaving comments, “you have a great club, well done!”
