Welfare

The club has adopted and works closely within the policies and guidelines of British Gymnastics. Despite our good communication & our caring approach there may be times when parents and / or gymnasts, volunteers and staff have concerns regarding the club.

It is to provide knowledgeable, experienced support that the club has recruited and trained an effective welfare team.

Almost a "Jill of all trades" Helen plays an active role in many facets of the club.

Helen is a parent to two, the youngest of whom was a gymnast as Pegasus for many years. She is supportive, open minded with a capacity for identifying appropriate solutions to the trickiest of situations.

Helen’s role as Welfare Officer has included club based work, overseas training camps and event management.

Her understanding of the sport not only enables her to take outstanding pictures but also gives her an insight into the difficulties faced by gymnasts and parents.

Full details of how to contact Helen are in the club handbook or click here to send her an email.

The photographs taken at events are displayed on an easy to navigate web site which is well protected by separate passwords for each section.
