The club has adopted and works closely within the policies and guidelines of British Gymnastics. Despite our good communication & our caring approach there may be times when parents and / or gymnasts, volunteers and staff have concerns regarding the club.
It is to provide knowledgeable, experienced support that the club has recruited and trained an effective welfare team.
Almost a "Jill of all trades" Helen plays an active role in many facets of the club.
Helen is a parent to two, the youngest of whom was a gymnast as Pegasus for many years. She is supportive, open minded with a capacity for identifying appropriate solutions to the trickiest of situations.
Helen’s role as Welfare Officer has included club based work, overseas training camps and event management.
Her understanding of the sport not only enables her to take outstanding pictures but also gives her an insight into the difficulties faced by gymnasts and parents.

Helen Cooper -
Andrea has experience in staff management within the retail industry and brings a different dimension to the team which supports and assists staff and volunteers in addition to club members. Her elder daughter is a member of the Women's Artistic squad, and she is well aware of the demands on family time and finance.
Her organisational ability and command of English are valuable assets within such a busy and dynamic club.

Deborah has spent many hours volunteering at the club during the past with events and fundraising. Now a member of our invaluable Reception team, She is around most evenings during Gymnastics for All classes.
Her non biased approach, along with an ability to listen and find solutions makes her great asset to the team.

Catherine is a member of the Coaching Team at Pegasus and coaches within the Women’s Artistic Squads and Kindergym. She has been part of the gymnastics world for many years and is also part of the British Gymnastics Disabilities National Squad and Judging Team.

Caina is a voluntary member of the Coaching Team at Pegasus and coaches within Gymnastics for All. Currently still a training gymnast Carina understands the pressures and involvement required for high level Artistic Gymnastics.
