Background & Experience

Despite there being few opportunities for girls to take up gymnastics in her home town in Romania , Lacramioara has been involved as an interested supporter from an early age. Following her brothers progress through the early years to his selection to Olympic squad she has an in depth understanding of the commitment and dedication required for elite performance.

At the same time, not having the opportunity herself she is anxious to ensure young children of all abilities can enjoy the formative sport of gymnastics.

She came first to England in the Spring of 2000 to visit her brother and returned in September 2001 to pursue her English language studies.

She immediately became interested in furthering her knowledge of gymnastics, volunteering many hours to the club whilst gaining her coaching qualifications.

Her experience as a Community Sports Coach from 2005 - 2009 and her administraive acumen have enabled her promotion to Manager of Satellite Clubs.
